Just because when I was little I was a Pokemon fantard. 
But ind=between the 2nd and 3rd generations, I stopped watching because the show became total shit.
I always loved Charmeleon because he was badass but his brightish red color, white claws, and blue eyes bothered me.

So I always just imagined him with a darker red color, grayish claws, and amber eyes.

I used to watch the show as well, but then I read the manga, and realized just how characterless Ash really is! and how stupid he is too. I much prefer Red. and BLUE!!!
(I read the English manga so Blue is the boy and Green is the girl, to me.)
